Single user licence
If you purchase a licence (full version) to use SQL-Scripter, you are entitled to use / install the license on one single computer.
If you wish to install SQL-Scripter on multiple machines then you must purchase multiple licenses.
Examples: If you have one laptop and one desktop machine and wish to install SQL-Scripter on both then you must purchase two licenses.

Confidentiality / License transfer
When you purchase a license you are issued with a license notice containing a license code which can be used to register SQL-Scripter.
It is your responsibility to keep this notice and the information contained within it in a safe place and not to share it with any third-party.
Licenses are non-transferrable. It is not allowed to publish, sell, lease, rent, lend, sublicense or to forward the licence key to another person, organization or community.

Return privilege
SQL-Scripter is offered as 'try-before-you-buy'. You can try SQL-Scripter in order to evaluate the software and the functions before you proceed here and actually make a purchase.
It is inadmissible to return the license key. There is no refund for the purchase price.

Exemption of liability
SQL-Scripter is available as test version (so-called shareware version), so that the potential
customer has the opportunity to comprehensively test the product. Given the fact that the
customer was granted the right to test the product prior the purchase, the purchase is
effected "with all faults". This means that the potential customer is not entitled to make a
claim in respect of a defect or fault that may exist in the full version or the test version.
The customer acknowledges that any software may contain faults.
The development and realisation of SQL-Scripter is characterised by
extensive care and accuracy. However, it cannot excluded that the software
contains some defects or errors. Any reported faults are remedied as soon as possible.
The author is is not liable for any consequential, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive or other damages whatsoever (including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, loss of privacy, negligence, and for any pecuniary or other loss) arising out of or in any way related to the use of, installation of, or inability to use or install the software or using the software results.

Licence version validity and upgrades
When you purchase a license key, it is for that version valid on date of purchase and all minor updates up to the next major version release.
For example, if you purchase a version 3 license key, it is valid for all version 3.x releases, then when version 4 is released, it is possible that you may need to purchase a new license key.
Once a new major version has been released, the author will not release any updates for the old versions.

Decompiling
It is not allowed to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the software.

Legalisation clause
This agreement is subject to the law in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Should any stipulation included in this agreement be, or become, legally invalid, or should
the agreement contain any gaps, this does not affect the legal effect of the remaining stipulations.
